To Haiti With Love: A Benefit for Haitian Relief, Mount Hollis Masonic Lodge, 657 Washington Street (Route 16), Holliston, Mass. Please join me at a very special event to benefit the people of Haiti. To Haiti With Love is an all day community yard sale, bake sale, dinner and auction. The doors open at 9:00 a.m. for the sale, which will include kids' games, music, and good things to nibble on. For those who can stay later, a traditional ham and bean supper will be served from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., followed by an auction of some special prize items. Contributions have poured in from individuals, local businesses and public service groups. Proceeds from all of the days events will be donated directly to the American Red Cross to support their critically important rescue missions in response to the recent earthquake in Haiti.
I am honored to have been asked to provide music for this event. Musical performances will be scheduled throughout the day and evening, and I anticipate being joined by some of my musical partners along the way.
Please join with other caring people in your community to help ease the suffering of the Haitian people. I look forward to seeing you there, and thank you!
