First, let me just say thanks to all of you who have come out to see me play recently, only to learn that I was home recuperating from elbow surgery. I've heard from several of you, and I'm very grateful for your concern (at least I think it was concern; maybe it was just annoyance at coming out to hear me play and discovering I wasn't there!).
For the rest of you, to shorten a long and disagreeable story, I had surgery in June to repair damaged tendons in my arm, then developed a temporary nerve disorder in my lower arm, followed by a second surgery, drugs, physical therapy... well, you get the idea. I'm happy to say that the arm is functioning once more, I'm playing guitar again, recording tracks for my long-promised next CD, and looking forward to playing some of my favorite places again!
I hope you'll all forgive my various cancellations and no-shows over the last few months, and come on out to see what modern medicine is able to accomplish these days. Here's a sampling of where you can hear me play over the next couple of months:

Harmony From The Heart: A Benefit for Platelet Research, Knights of Columbus Hall, West Central Street (Route 140), Franklin, Mass. This will be the fifth annual benefit organized by Mary and Kai Ollson to raise funds for the Center for Platelet Function Studies at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As in past years, PT73 will be the "house band" for the event, which will include great food, drink, dancing, a silent auction, raffles, and lots more.
